Nigerian singer and songwriter Ruger taps MC Morena for “Private Chef” off his upcoming project from 2026; R.U. (Raw & Unfiltered), Vol. 1.
On “Private Chef”, Nigerian Afrobeats singer Ruger pairs up with MC Morena, the Pretoria, South Africa-based singer that is identified with the country’s Barcadi music genre. South African sound makes it presence known on Ruger’s project, this adds a South African feature and highlights Ruger’s increased interest in South African music trends and talent.
The six-song project that holds the six-song recording features MC Morena on one of his relatively featured slots as the track length exceeds that of other tracks, at three minutes and 21 seconds of duration, with the collaboration featuring among three notable features and as one of the two south- African tracks on R.U.(Raw & Unfiltered), Vol. 1; with Ruger’s south African relationship amplified on the album with the feature of Musa Keys and Young Stunna, another collaborating duo that appears on other songs of the R.U.(Raw& Unfiltered), Vol. 1 project.
