Singer Tems, a Grammy-winning artist, has explained why she cannot date or pursue romantic relationships with Nigerian male celebrities.

Tems said that being both Nigerian would prevent her from seeing Maduka Okoye in a romantic light if given the chance.

The ‘Love Me Jeje’ singer stated that she is not interested in a romantic relationship with fellow Nigerian celebrities, describing them as “brothers”.

She stated that she is aware of who Maduka Okoye is, but she does not personally know him. I wish I had though. We don’t shoot from the hip here.

“Nigerian celebrities befriend each other and consider themselves a family.” My male colleagues are like brothers to me.
